Accessing the collections

Searching

The whole BLDS Legacy Collection can be searched via the University of Sussex Library catalogue. Click here to perform an advanced search and then select BLDS Legacy Collection from the dropdown menu to limit your search.

Using the collections

The BLDS Legacy Collection is housed in the University of Sussex Library (see here for information for visitors).

If you are a member of the Library

Once you have found an item or items you wish to consult, please sign into your Library Account with your ITS User name and password, you will then be able to use the Request button to ask for the materials to be fetched for you from our stores.

We will email you to arrange a convenient time to come into the Library and consult your items in our Legacy Reading Room. Our email will explain what will happen when you come in to view your materials.

Once you have found an item or items you wish to consult, please contact us at library.collections@sussex.ac.uk with a list of requests.
